Buchanan female face of Manchester Digital Council

Kirstie Buchanan has become the sole female member of the Manchester Digital Council.

The council promotes and supports the digital industry in Manchester.  It has more than 300 members.

Shaun Fensom, chair of the council, said that there had been significant competition for places on the council.  It ‘is the sign of a healthy member-driven organisation,’ he said.

Kirstie Buchanan said:

“I’m chuffed to bits to have been voted onto the council.  We have great plans for 2008 and I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves and get involved.”
