Chief Strategy Officer to accelerate international expansion

Adam Sefton has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer, to assist the international team with the global strategic development of the agency.
This is a key hire for Reading Room as it continues its global expansion. Sefton will play a pivotal role in helping to develop an international agency network that delivers creative effectiveness for its clients and will drive a focus on creativity and innovation across all disciplines and geographic locations.
Having previously spent four years at Reading Room, he rejoins at a pivotal time in the agency's growth. He says: "It's a tremendously exciting time to be rejoining Reading Room and I'm looking forward to building on the fantastic work the agency is already doing. The recent 48 hour mobile app hackathon is a great example of how our offices are already collaborating, and how fusing local talent and ability with a global Reading Room culture of creativity and technology can produce outstanding results."
Sefton joins from R/GA London, where he was Planning Director across the agency's Unilever account, responsible for global planning and setting digital strategy for Unilever brands. Prior to this, he ran global planning on the agency's Nokia account, based out of London and Helsinki, Finland.
