Happy Birthday to Reading Room

We are officially 10 years old this month - and what a ten years it has been!

Who'd have ever thought we'd have made it. When we started out in 1996, we had no idea of the challenges ahead. And since then, we've worked with hundreds of clients on thousands of projects, survived the dot com bust and grown into one of the biggest independent digital agencies in the UK.

We started out in November 1996 and from the outset we were determined to offer an intelligent approach to internet development that encompassed the right balance of design, technology and site marketing expertise. We've grown at a phenomenal rate and we now operate from offices all around the globe - London, Manchester, Sydney, Canberra and soon in New York.

For an consultancy used to a challenge, it seemed only right that we should try and celebrate the occasion by trying to get the entire company over to Barcelona for the weekend. Project planning maybe second nature to us, but even so, we were really impressed that we managed to get over 80 digital designers, developers, planners and project managers onto the same plane (ok, 2 planes). Not only that, but we managed to get them all home again (though not in the same day!)

Inbetween dancing on podiums, falling asleep at the table (Margaret!) and hugging Gary, we managed to take in the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, the Food Market on Las Ramblas and the Picasso Museum. Some of the best photos can be seen here. Take a look, and let us know what you think.
