Maximising Business Benefits
Reading Room's principal consultant, Tom Voirol is facilitating a one day workshop at this tailored and informative event: 5-7 JUNE Chifley on Northbourne, "Information Architecture implementation and review: maximising business benefits"
Information architecture (IA) is shrouded by a number of differing definitions and applications which can be a minefield for users.
By exploring the capabilities and dynamics of IA from concept to reality in this pragmatic and interactive session, principles and lessons learnt will enable users to develop an IA specific to their organisation.
At the Information Architecture in the Public Sector 2006 Conference, Tom Voirol will run an extremely informative and useful workshop to maximise business benefits. Tom has led IA projects for more than 10 years, in his native Switzerland, worldwide and now with Reading Room in Australia. His experience spans the domains of content management for websites and intranets, electronic document management and records management. He consults in all these areas, bridging a solid technical background with the business aspects of information management. His two areas of focus are usability and change management. Tom will share his experience on these issues which he sees as two sides of the same coin.
