Reading Room joins forces with Sitecore to deliver e-services perfection
14/07/2010 - London
Our team will be taking part in two thought-provoking discussion groups at Olympia Conference Centre today, hosted by CMS specialists Sitecore, which will cover a range of topics, from social to geo-content, to help organisations gain more from their digital budgets by improving efficiency and effectiveness.
The first of the discussion groups we'll be talking at will be 'Effective e-Service delivery to your constituents – sweating your e services to maximise operational and area cost savings'. Our team will offer their expertise by discussing how organisations can maximise efficiency with the help of social and geo content, which can reduce case load and costs. At a time when council budgets are being squeezed and targets continue to rise, this is sure to be a popular choice among the delegates.
In the afternoon, those who attend 'Redesigning your website: if I were you I wouldn't be starting from here' will be able to pick our team's collective brain about everything from how to afford a redesign to whether it should handled in-house or by an external agency. Also up for discussion, as councils consider the pros and cons of redesigning their site, will be user-centred design; form vrs function; and the merits of incorporating social media.
The event, which is hosted by Socitm, will bring together more than 300 participants - including webmasters and web teams from all parts of the UK - for a series of fascinating conference sessions, discussion groups and workshops that will shine a light on both current best practice and potential future trends.
