Reading Room Parties in Paris

01/12/2007 - London

Last weekend Reading Room took Paris by storm in celebration of 2007!

It has been a great year for the award-winning digital consultancy - ranging from new clients, to new staff, to moving into larger offices in London, Manchester and Sydney.

To celebrate Christmas this year the two UK offices took the new high speed Eurostar from St Pancras to Paris, drinking both the St Pancras champagne bar and the on-board bar dry on the way. Once in Paris, in between dancing on tables (Phil!), being serenaded by Frenchmen (Margaret!); and falling asleep at the table (Simon!); a great time was had by all. A few people even managed some shopping, a walk along the Seine, and a trip up the Eiffel Tower - in between various visits to bars, restaurants and clubs.

Over in the Australian offices, the team are trying to decide whether to have surfing lessons, a harbour cruise or hire a beach house for the weekend to take advantage of the beautiful weather for their Christmas do - the UK offices are not at all jealous, honestly.

Margaret Manning, Reading Room CEO, said, "It was lovely to be able to take our staff to Paris for this year's Christmas party - and to recognise everyone's hard work and achievements. The trip was great fun with some hilarious moments that will be remembered by everyone for a long time. I have to admit we are all feeling a little worse for wear this week! Alka Seltzer anyone!?"
