Reading Room sharing the floor with Europe's leading B2B marketers and Innovators

Reading Rooms CEO Margaret Manning is to share the floor with some of Europe's leading B2B marketers and innovators at this year's IDM B2B Marketing Conference on the 22nd February at Earls Court.

Now in its second year the conference will deliver a host of best practice examples of multi-channel, direct and online marketing from organisations such as IBM, PC World, Nokia, Google, Oracle and O2.

Reading Room's session on B2B websites that deliver will cover the key areas to address when designing a successful website. It also covers some common and avoidable mistakes, specifically:

  • What are the best ways to attract customers and then get them to register on your site?
  • What are the best ways to keep customers coming back to your site?
  • Examples of design and copy that are proved to increase the usability of a site
  • What techniques are there that increase the number of website visitors to online purchasers

The conference programme allows for delegates to select from 2 streams during the pre-lunch session to focus on either digital marketing or sales and marketing integration. Speakers will deliver leading edge insights, best practice examples and a range of case studies to enthuse and inform.

Margaret Manning

We are delighted to be involved in what will no doubt be one of the leading events this year for B2B marketers. I am sure that both I and the delegates will go away with a wealth of invaluable insights.

The keynote speaker session in the afternoon is USA B2B Marketer of the Year, Richard Rosen, who will reveal the best of B2B marketing from the USA and present his new model for business-boosting brand interaction.

Joanna King, Director of Professional Short Courses at the IDM The over-long waiting list from last year was proof positive that the B2B marketing community is hungry for an annual injection of the latest research, strategies and practises in B2B marketing. To cater for them in 2005 we have engineered a more specific programme with clearer learning outcomes and immediate business applications. On that basis I am confident we will repeat the success of 2004.

Tickets cost £495 + VAT for IDM members and £545 + VAT for non-members. Delegates booking before January 31 are eligible for a £50 discount, while those paying for two delegates get the third free. The price includes the evening Cocktail reception.
