Reading Room targets new recruits after string of client wins and awards

30/10/2008 - London

For the second consecutive year, Reading Room is the highest ranking digital agency on The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 as well as one of Britain's best performing private technology companies.

Published annually, the survey measures sales growth over the last three financial years to highlight those firms that are outperforming both the market and their competitors. Ranked 50th after posting a 60 per cent annual sales growth over the three year period with a turnover of £9.5 million, the company lists OKI Printers, BBC, Skoda and Royal Mail amongst its client list.

In addition to this award, Reading Room is 8th in the 2008 list of the UK's Top Agencies compiled by New Media Age (NMA). The table shows that growth across the digital industry remains strong and Reading Room's position reflects its strong performance in the brand, campaign and strategy markets.

"For us this is not about an intangible ranking in tables, but recognition of the great work we have been doing for our clients" states Margaret Manning, CEO of Reading Room. "We've been growing quickly for a number of years and our success means that we are confident of continued expansion and profit growth over the next twelve months. Despite the current adverse economic climate Reading Room is actively looking to expand its team and welcomes the opportunity to hear from candidates looking to join a vibrant and successful consultancy."

Reading Room is seeking to recruit people to join its teams in London, Manchester and Canberra and offers an informal, sociable environment in which it delivers top quality solutions for its clients. Positions are available across a wide range of disciplines and levels of industry experience, from graduates through to senior management.
