Reading Room thrashes the opposition at International Awards ceremony in New York

17/10/2012 - London

Out of 1,200 nominations from around the world, we have secured 7 awards, more than any other company internationally. The New York Stevie awards recognise exceptional women and the work that they produce across the globe, and is hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Not only has Reading Room been recognised for the highest number of awards, but is also the only business outside of the United States to win an award in the Company of the Year – Business Services category.

Founder, Margaret Manning (pictured, holding her recent Women in Leadership Award at the Best CIO Awards in Singapore) has been chosen as an award winner in two entrepreneur’s categories and Sarah Vick, CEO, in the executive category.

Two Singapore clients have also been recognised.

The National Environment Agency’s ‘Youth for the Environment Day’ website in the Communications or PR Campaign of the Year category, along with the Audible Hearts website developed for the Health Promotion Board.

The Audible Hearts site has also been recognised in the heavily contested Website of the Year category.

This recognition means that each nomination will ultimately be a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winner in the programme.

Margaret Manning, CEO said: “We’re so incredibly pleased to have our work recognised at one of the most prestigious awards programmes in the industry. With four out five of the company directors being female, Reading Room is a company that is committed to inspiring women in the workplace and to creating innovative and inspiring work for our clients.”
