Reading Room's CEO Margaret Manning is to share the floor with leading industry figures at this year's 'Growing your Own Business' Exhibition & Conference on 1 & 2nd April at Olympia, London.
Reading Room's session on the Saturday will cover the key areas to address when growing your business online. Highlights will include: improving business processes online for better efficiency, and managing suppliers and customers online to maximise business potential, followed, no doubt, by a healthy debate!

It is rare to find an event that will feature companies and experts offering such a wide variety of valuable advice and services which will enable businesses to expand much faster, increase their efficiency and most importantly, improve their profitability.
The request to speak at this year's event came quickly after the news that Reading Room have been appointed as Small Business Service's new design consultancy, as they continue in their efforts to provide clear, useful, and easily accessible help to small businesses through the businesslink.gov.uk site. The win is an exciting one for Reading Room and the team are particularly looking forward to working on the businesslink.gov.uk portal with SBS in the effort to provide a 'one stop shop' to efficiently cater to small businesses, and provide them with the easiest access to the vast quantity of information and services on offer.
Experts from leading industry companies such as Coffee Nation, Business Link, Streetcar, Business Post will also be among an array of successful and inspiring speakers during the comprehensive seminar programme. All the presenters at the Growing Your Own Business Conference are leading entrepreneurs in their respective industries, and hold either founding or top-level positions in their companies.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Martyn Dawes, Founder of Coffee Nation. Launched in September 2000 with capital of just £100,000, Dawes has since transformed Coffee Nation into the fastest growing coffee company in the UK, with a turnover approaching £12 million
Also taking place at the event is the Business Advice Zone, where visitors can join other small business owners and experts to network and gain valuable business contacts and advice. A range of companies will be hosting events over the two days, including: A Woman's Place, who will be hosting a network for women and business on Friday; Peter Lusty, a Chartered Accountant, who will be running a business advice clinic on Saturday morning; and a team of business coaches from Action International on Saturday afternoon.
