Tuning online to Ronnie Scott's podcast

The site reflects the Club's refurbishment including a very cool and sexy new look to match the club's timeless atmosphere reflected in its new branding and interior.

Ronnie Scott's podcast brings the club firmly into the 21st century world of digital music. It allows fans of the club, and jazz in general, to get a real flavour of the upcoming events and artists.

Produced like a monthly 20 minute radio-show, the podcast includes exclusive interviews with performers, music, full events listings for the month ahead and competitions to win tickets to the club.

The first ever episode, available in iTunes or from the site now, includes interviews with ex-Brand New Heavies star Carleen Anderson and legendary Jamaican pianist Monty Alexander.

Other site features include online ticket purchasing for visitors who are able to browse and book performances.

Reading Room created a bespoke Content Management System to allow the website to be regularly updated by the team at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, through which the team are able to manage performances, track bookings, receive membership applications and send out newsletters to their members.

Margaret Manning, CEO Reading Room, said "Ronnie Scott's is our next door neighbour so we are thrilled to be involved in enabling the future of music. The passion for the Club is very contagious. Visitors can enjoy finding out about all about the fantastic acts, and hear music, interviews and competitions from the legendary club, through the exclusive Ronnie Scott's podcast".
