Cancer Research UK: Race for Life

Cancer Research UK’s “Race for Life” site won the New Media Age Effectiveness Award for the Charity & Voluntary Sector. The website won because of its extraordinary success in addressing some very specific project objectives through its design, usability and interactivity

BBC: Green Peter

The BBC originally asked Reading Room to design and develop the Green Peter microsite to support a Blue Peter special. They liked our animated characters so much they appeared in a whole series of on-air short films.

YHA

The YHA  wanted to radically change online communications to compete in the 21st century travel marketplace. We developed an online business and brand strategy, plus functionality including a new content management system, e-commerce and a dynamic pricing mechanism.

Kaplan Aspect

We created 14 informational and e-commerce regional sites - in as many different languages – for the leading global provider of language education, Kaplan Aspect. The multi-lingual sites, including Arabic, Japanese, Chinese and every major European language, were rolled out in just 14 weeks.

Škoda UK

Bold, original and highly distinctive, Reading Room’s design for Škoda’s new website not only looks good, but also delivers well defined business results. The site’s focus on usability and design led to a remarkable 400% increase in requests for test drives and brochures.

WSPA: Pigs of God

We devised a Flash-based, multilingual microsite for the World Society for the Protection of Animals for its campaign to call for an end to the Taiwanese Pigs of God contest, where animals have been force-fed to grotesque proportions.

The Prince of Wales

Reading Room delivered an accessible site with a contemporary look and fresh, distinctive design. The new site utilises interactive features, communicating through subscription-based content, flash games and broadband content.

Corney and Barrow
