Account Manager

Do you have account management experience? Get excited about how technology can impact business? A great opportunity has emerged at Reading Room for you to become Account Manager across some of our public sector, b2b and brand accounts.

You’ll likely have a few years account management experience, perhaps with some experience in technical organisations. The account management role will allow you to take responsibility for a portfolio of customers, managing in-bound sales, identifying new business opportunities from existing customer accounts, managing customer queries and ensuring high level of customer retention. It will suit an ambitious professional able to take responsibility for the development of client relationships, and look for opportunities for us to bring further value to each client relationship.

Excellent communication skills go without saying and you should also be able to build strong relationships with clients, team members and other suppliers as you explore opportunities with existing customers as well as responding to sales enquiries with a well-managed flow of quotes and proposal documentation.

You must be persuasive and confident when pitching forward thinking ideas. As Account Manager you will provide strategic and tactical advice, growing our business with some of our key clients. Your client services skills will be fundamental to the role. You’ll be meeting multiple clients weekly, managing various account calls on a daily basis, finding new opportunities and managing all aspects of the client relationship.
