About the Role:

Following a number of significant new business wins, we’re looking to bolster our Client Services team with a Senior Account Director to lead a select portfolio of high potential client relationships across Development, UX and Digital Marketing. The Senior Account Director will be responsible for understanding client goals and objectives and translating these into solid plans for portfolio growth, accurately forecasting revenue to the business. This role will work alongside our strategists, project leads, delivery teams and developers to deliver against these goals, ensuring that our work is of the highest quality and meets and exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking full responsibility for growing revenue and driving business growth from a select portfolio of key accounts
  • Instigating quarterly planning cycles and maintaining account plans designed to deliver added value to the client and growth to the agency
  • Building strong, productive senior-level relationships client-side based on trust and performance
  • Liaising closely with the strategy team to identify opportunities for growth
  • Working closely with project directors to ensure that work is being delivered on time and to budget
  • Directing the estimation of new work and writing compelling proposals in response to client briefs
  • Ensuring that the agency delivers outstanding service to client portfolio, taking responsibility for the quality of work carried out
  • Accurately forecasting client revenue and reporting results to the Group Account Director
  • Feeding into new business pitch process on specific areas of expertise
  • Mentoring and guiding more junior members of the Client Services team to promote a culture of commercial success

About You:

A brilliant and inspiring communicator with a commercial mindset, you’ll be adept at building relationships with senior figures and teasing out insights about where the agency’s services can be best utilised to deliver client success. You’ll be at Account Director level or above with over 8 years of agency experience and a proven track-record of delivering results for enterprise level clients on complex technical projects and web builds.

Knowledge and experience:

  • Significant experience (8 years +) in professional client relationship management of senior stakeholders in enterprise-level organisations
  • A proven background in complex technical projects and web builds (ideally using Sitecore, Drupal or Umbraco CMS)
  • Demonstrable experience in meeting or exceeding revenue targets and growing existing accounts to profitability
  • Experience of writing and winning high value proposals, RFPs and being involved in face-to-face pitches
  • Experience of managing, developing and coaching colleagues across multi- disciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with selling SEO and Digital Marketing services
