The new website we created for Aldermore has picked up its first accolade, with a Best in Class in Banking at the Interactive Media Awards.

The international awards recognise the highest standards of excellence in web design and development across a number of annual categories. Each submission is judged upon five criteria, each carrying a maximum score of 100. was given a score of 485 to earn Best in Class, the highest honour of the IMA.

The new site was created as the first phase of the bank’s digital transformation to improve the customer experience and give Aldermore stand out in a crowded marketplace. Its customer-led navigation allows visitors to select the suitable products and services they need.

The judges said: “This site combines elegance, simplicity and great usability to create a refreshing new look for a banking site. The content is robust and well-organized. The design is sharp and appealing. Many banking sites feel the need to clutter their pages with their offerings. The Aldermore site provides a much cleaner, almost minimalist presentation without any loss in content quality. Nice work.”
