We are delighted to announce that the website we developed for Go Ape has won in the Travel & Leisure category at the Good Web Guide Awards.
The GWG awards is held every year to celebrate the best and most innovative websites, apps and blogs of the year. The judges of the awards had wonderful things to say about the Go Ape site:
Lily Liebel, Creative Director of Entourage Collection said “Go Ape’s website is exciting both visually and in terms of content; I also love they took the time to add a section about protecting the environment and the charitable initiatives they are involved with. It looks great and offers loads of great and inspiring ideas, especially for families with children, on a site that is very easy to use.”
“The site had a fresh design, was clear, well laid out and had a bit of personality to it. The originality and uniqueness of its design meant it’s stands outs and differentiates from the “normal” designs of travel sites. Alongside that there were some nice touches – splitting of activities and locations (which caters for different kinds of search needs), location pages with lazy loaded images and activities with tags & reviews.” – Tony Brennand, Director of Digital Marmalade
Arabella Dymoke, Managing Director of Good Web Guide Awards, added “what I love about Go Ape is that the visitor wants to jump right in and book a zip line, whatever their age.”
We are very proud the Go Ape site and the hard work our team put in. Alex Hall, front end developer on the project, had a few words to say about the win: “we are thrilled to have won the category award in Travel & Leisure for the Go Ape website. Working closely with the team at Go Ape we were able to get across the sense of fun and adventure they required for the rebrand to deliver a great website”.
