The appointment is in addition to Reading Room’s existing positions on G-Cloud and the Scottish Government’s Digital and Technology Services Framework (DATS).
From October, the third iteration of the refreshed Digital Outcomes and Specialists framework will make the journey towards digital transformation easier, faster and cheaper for public sector bodies across the UK. The framework will sit on the government’s Digital Marketplace, and comes with a £1.2bn estimated value – almost four times that of its predecessor. The portal has already surpassed £280 million since the framework’s inception.
Reading Room will be able to offer their award-winning services in user experience, design, development, and support to an ever-growing client base looking to digitise and transform the way services are delivered. The agency is already the chosen innovation partner of a number of public sector organisations including Cornwall Council, Health Education England & The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
Jonathan Vince, Commercial Director at Reading Room said: "Our appointment to the Digital Marketplace is a huge opportunity for us to bring our long-standing expertise to the fore and deliver more outstanding, impactful, and innovative projects for the public sector."
