Reading Room is now Cyber Essentials certified!

Achieving Cyber Essentials accredited status highlights our dedication to ensuring that we have appropriate data governance and processes in place.

Reading Room has completed Cyber Essentials Plus, meaning that we have not only passed a step-by-step compliance self-assessment, but also a technical review by an accreditation body.

The Cyber Essentials Plus certification grants a clear picture of our internal data security level, demonstrating our effectiveness in dealing with online threats.

The certification scheme was set up by the UK government in collaboration with the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises (IASME) consortium and the Information Security Forum (ISF). Designed to promote a high standard of security practices across all industries and sectors in the UK, it has also been a requirement for UK Government contract bids since its creation in 2014.

“We are thrilled to become certified, as this offers our clients peace of mind that their information is secure and being managed with due diligence. The Cyber Essentials Plus certificate marks the progress we have made towards our goal of delivering ISO 27001 accreditation by the end of this year.” – David Lillington, Managing Director, Reading Room
