Every upgrade project is unique, with varying needs, challenges and processes. We start by ensuring we have a deep understanding of your sites unique features, and we then develop a jargon-free project plan accordingly. An upgrade can range from 1 week, to a few months, but we will be transparent on timelines from the start.
As each project is different, the time and effort taken to complete each project also varies. All quotes include a detailed service breakdown, and include a clear fixed price.
No problem - end-of-life versions can still be upgraded! Even if you are on an earlier version of Umbraco (<8) we are able to upgrade you to a supported version.
When upgrading from an end-of-life version, we recommend upgrading to version 13 (out of 15), as a minimum. This ensures your site can benefit from all the latest features, and will remain supported for a beneficial period of time. At the start of the process we will make a justified recommendation as to whether version 13, 14, or 15 is best for your needs.
Whilst your site will remain functional for now, you will no longer recieve any security updates and patches, therefore putting your site at significant risk of breaches. To ensure compliance, it is crucial to operate your site on an up-to-date and supported Umbraco version.
